Suprisingly accurate with a lot of species. Has useful info on characteristics and more importantly look-alikes that a given shroom could be mistaken for. I feel like the app would benefit from taking a top and bottom picture at once for identification instead of a single picture but overall pretty .

Gives search results, then blocks access to information behind a paywall. Similar apps offer a lot more and use ads as the incentive to purchase. When an app has ads and limited access, it doesn't show any purpose to try to sell. I'd rather have an app with more ads, but show why it's woth a monthly fee.

I am an avid forager, and while I have a local mushroom field guide, I like to have a little reassurance on what type of mushroom I'm finding, so I thought I'd download this app, and went ahead and immediately signed up for the premium subscription. The app still looks exactly the same after my purchase. The app still sends me to the page to sign up for premium, but when I try to hit one of the purchase options I get an error message saying I've already signed up. Yet I still get ads... RIP OFF!

Be aware of this app, I believe it may be malware. Appears to be an actual hacked ripoff of PictureMushroom, which is made by PictureThis. There are even some links within this app to PictureThis. Also, over 100 5-star reviews on an app with 1k downloads? All with bad grammar? Fake as hell. Reported. Please be careful.
