Great IF. You are NOT running 4.4.1 :(I just updated my Nexus 5 to 4.4.1, and now this does not work. Says incompatible Android version. Will update to 5 stars when updated. You need to make this app more flexible. For example instead of just not running when it sees a newer version have it give a warning that it MAY NOT work with this version instead of making it flat not work. This is not a very practical way to treat Android updates.

MX player is good aap, but some futures are required for more important like YouTube videos file online play and more important live url video player. And also ott option same as the MX player free app.

Interestingly, Pro version has some compatibility issues with audio ("DTS format not supported"), while free version works perfectly. Will change the review to 5* is these changes.

I have Nothing phone 1, and it supports HDR10+, but MX player shows washed out color when playing HDR Video. Please fix this ASAP.
