My Boy! is a super fast and full-featured emulator to run GameBoy Advance games on Android devices, from very low-end phones to modern tablets. It emulates nearly all aspects of the real hardware, including linking devices for multiplayer games.

Lets me play a lot of game but have to download them from chrome then put the download into the game files it's easier than it sounds. Zero issues with the format of buttons and no ads yet. I've had this emulator for years now.

This is by far my favorite for Game Boy when it comes to mobile, I've tried Lemuria which is a close second, but it constantly loses save/game progress and doesn't let you customize anything or add cheats to games. But my biggest hiccup with My Boy! Is that it's far behind on compatibility when it comes to rom hacks. But My Boy! Is a sole source emulator dev team and all others just use mGBA as source code, so if you want modern rom hacks compatibility issues will happen, otherwise this is golden

Completely useless in running any pre 3 Pokémon generation games. It refuses to read any unzipped file I have put into it. Would not recommend if you want to play Pokémon.

For some reason it can't play some of the newer GBA games. Developers say it's out of date which is disappointing for a paid app.

It was a good emulator. However, it deleted my save file one too many times. There was an android update that blocked My Boy! From accessing all my old saves. Fine. I guess I'll restart my game with hours of progress. Then I got a new phone and transferred all files and app data. I can see my old save in my files but can I access it? No. My save file is once again lost. You're better off downloading a different emulator that actually cares about your save file. To think I put money into this app.
