I did buy a guide book for my discovery holidays in Crete but ended up using this brilliant free app as it was so gr8 at finding thinks near me to visit organized by themes (nature, ancient sites, museums, beaches, religious sites etc...). I loved the city walks, (gps helpful) with its useful icons for extra info. The reviews tip and stars allocations from previous users really helped choose and prioritize what to see! I absolutely loved this app and would recommend to anyone going to Crete.

Although the app says it is 100% free, it says I have to activate it with credit card details. Tried to do so twice with 2 different UK credit cards (one Visa and one Mastercard) but it said it no longer accepts cards starting with those numbers. Perhaps the developers can explain (1) why I would need to enter card details to use a free app and (2) why the two cards I tried were apparently unacceptable. If I get a satisfactory answer I will consider changing my review.
