I have a lot of books and movies, and I use this app to catalog my collection primarily, so I don't buy the same book or movie again while thift store shopping. It's free. It's easy to use. I've been very pleased

The scanner works well for most books, whether they're published in the US or elsewhere. Older books without a barcode can have their ISBN input manually. In the rare case that I can't find an ISBN or the barcode returns a car part or other random item, I can search by the title and author. The information in my library is easy to customize, helping me to separate our books by genre, age group, or specific owner. So far, I have only used the app for books. I'll do music and movies next!

I've been looking for an app like this and am really glad I found this one! It's easy to use and has the flexibility I need. I used to keep track of books in a physical book, but it became unwieldy.

Very frustrating. The app is supposed to download the book covers and then display them on the list. But it's not working. It downloads the cover image to my phone, but the app can't display it when adding the book, and it does not display it as a thumbnail on the list. It's sad because I used this app about 3 years ago, and it was great. It showed all of the book covers as thumbnails, and that's what I liked the most about it. But some update or something messed the thumbnail display up.

This app would not allow me to add the first book I barcode scanned, and had the details automatically downloaded. The date was in dd/mm/yyyy format that the app said was invalid. No dashes. A well written app would automatically correct whatever was supposedly wrong with that valid date, possibly rated invalid because of regional settings. I guess you get what you pay for. I've since used other apps that can add the same book without a problem, even with the so-called invalid date.
