I started using Byway recently, and it’s been great for parking in Amsterdam. The app automatically detects the parking zone, shows the correct rate, and lets you start or stop your session with one tap. No more searching for parking meters or worrying about mistakes. It was our first time in Amsterdam & we entered a parking space that we had no reservations for. We called the number and explained our situation and Paul, who assisted us was so kind, understanding and patient with us as he explained the steps on how to download the app, register, fill out the necessary information and so forth. Didn't work for me. I set up ideal, but when I tried to park it asked for card details again. Also didn't find where can I scan a QR code.

I had a terrible experience using this app. The buttons often were not responsive, which made navigating the app frustrating and time-consuming. The most annoying issue, however, was the app's process for checking the availability of a parking space. It performs this check only at the payment step, after I had already entered all my information. This led to numerous occasions where I went through the entire booking process only to find out the space was unavailable

In-app help support doesn't work, error message that my device (smartphone!) does not support WhatsApp! Received confirmation email in Dutch, confirming payment taken, booking confirmed, but the app states payment failed. Found phone number via internet search - answer machine sends WhatsApp messages noone responds to. You have to phone every time you want to get in and out of parking. Can't extend the parking according to support team. The Extent parking button does not appear until day of dep
