App is helpful for specific issues. But support is TERRIBLE. You can NEVER speak directly to a tech support person. I went around and around when I was trying to get permissions for our special needs' daughter because I'm her legal guardian. Also, CHOP provides medical care for some of the sickest kids and most complicated case in the world. We need to be able to talk to a provider rather than just to see test results or to send a message. I realize that's old-fashioned. But technology doesn't make everything better when the subjects are human beings trying to cope with difficult and serious health problems. Bigger and efficient is not always better. Institutions need to remember that people are not always best served by just providing information. They require humanity.
