I hardly ever rate anything. But this app deserves a review. It was exactly what I was looking for, no more no less, and no problems. I was designing a tattoo that used thumbprints made into a heart. If you need an image of your fingerprints then use this.

It works really well, I didn't expect that I would get such good quality results just with camera. I was curious because I have a small scar on one of my fingers and was wondering whether it would apear on the scan. And surprisingly, yes it is visible, so I'd say the scan is accurate. Also, those people who say that it's hard to match points are bad themselves, app has nothing to do with the fact that you must use your non-dominant hand to scan your dominant hand.

I really find this app useful, but there's one flaw that should be fixed. The thumb impression doesn't cover the outer parts of the thumb, even if it is visible in the picture captured the app crops out that and only takes the predefined area for processing.

Scanning your own thumb, especially if you are right handled, and you're doing this with your left hand, is almost impossible. Matching 2 dots really difficult. The developers must come again

This app has a lot of potential to being a useful fingerprint resource. However, I found that when trying to collect my fingerprints the app would flip them sideways, this cuts of some of the key features of my prints and also contradicts the camera view where it identifies the Orientation of the finger. There is also no option in app to correct or retry a print if it doesn't seem correct.

The app won't ever focus the camera. And the frame rate is so bad, that it's impossible to make the dots overlap in the rate cases it even detects a finger

Totally waste, it doesn't even have a click button for the image. Just a camera, that's it! Now how to capture or scan the thumb impression???
