The volume on the background noise would not work and the horrific sensory nightmare of sounds continued as long as the program was running on my phone, even when it wasn't open or in use. I asked for hints several times in this game and the hint would show me something I had already tried several times, but somehow it wouldn't work unless I watched an ad and got a hint first. It may also interest you to know that knives and screwdrivers are not single use items. You can use them many times.
