Comments on Napster - AI Music & Experts for Android

★★★★☆ Jason Parkes · Jan 14, 2024

Maybe not as slick an interface as Spotify or Apple & still lags a bit from time to time but as a low cost no frills streaming app it's brilliant. Suggestions for new music/ playlists are generic&don't reflect my listening, but I'm not interested in that anyway and not having podcasts is actually the No1 plus for me as I don't want them. So if the low price basic streaming and no annoying podcasts' policy continues then I'll definitely renew.

★★★★★ Kyle Lindgren · May 18, 2023

Not as fancy as Spotify, but it's waylay better. I love Napster started using it again because Spotify let me down one too many times.

★★★★☆ Jason R · Dec 15, 2023

Having tried this app earlier in the year and not been impressed, given it another try after a three-month trial offer. Sound is very good - seems to sound better now - and most albums & artists I like are here. Missing personalized playlists like new releases. The personalized mix will hopefully improve over time. App version is good but the Web player needs a little tlc! Worth a try as an alternative to Deezer or Spotify.

★★★★★ José Carlos Galvão · Aug 12, 2023

It works very well and every time I need support I was quickly helped to use the helpdesk chat.

★☆☆☆☆ Francis · Dec 20, 2024

They permanently reject my music and playlists. The worst streaming platform. No more!

★★☆☆☆ Patrick Manning · Sep 4, 2023

Moved from SoundCloud to Napster recently and have been disappointed. The app is clunky to navigate but most importantly, randomly logs me out of the app in the middle of playing songs. Has happened 3 times in 3 days on premium subscription. Time to go to Spotify

★☆☆☆☆ Eve Chandler · Aug 21, 2025

Songs and artists just disappearing all the time. Go to play a playlist, and it's half of what it was. Really annoying and frustrating. I was trying to support the app that paid artists more and didn't seem as corrupt as some of the others, but I still want decent service. So annoyed I paid for a year straight up.
