Nardi, the backgammon of Georgia and the Caucasus, on an inlaid board in a late-night room. Play Short Nardi, the classic game with hitting, or Long Nardi, the courtyard game with no hitting where both sides start from their own head. A mars pays double in both.

PLAY REAL PEOPLE ONLINE
Find an opponent at your stake in seconds, or open a private table and send a friend the six-letter code. Your moves appear on their board as you make them. A turn clock keeps the game moving; if someone drops, the house plays their turn for them.

TWO GAMES, EXACT RULES
Short Nardi: hit a lone checker, enter from the bar, bear off. Long Nardi: the head rule, the six-block rule, no hitting. Forced dice, doubles and bearing off are enforced exactly in both. Drag a checker or tap it and its legal targets light up. Undo until the turn is done. A hint shows the sound play while you learn.

A HOUSE PLAYER WORTH BEATING
Offline, the house weighs the race, the points it holds, your blots and your home board, and from the Platinum room up it looks one roll ahead at every reply you could make. Bronze is forgiving; Diamond and High Roller are not.

FAIR DICE
Offline, every roll comes from a seed committed with a SHA-256 hash before the game and revealed at the end; the fairness screen replays the whole game from it. Online, the server throws every die and checks every move.

SIX ROOMS
Tbilisi, Batumi, Baku, Istanbul, Las Vegas and Monte Carlo, stakes from 500 chips upward. Two stakes are escrowed when the dice come out: a win returns three, a mars four, a loss one.
