Description
Nebula is a scalable overlay networking tool with a focus on performance, simplicity and security. It lets you seamlessly connect computers anywhere in the world. It can be used to connect a small number of devices, but is also able to connect tens of thousands of devices.
Nebula incorporates a number of existing concepts like encryption, security groups, certificates, and tunneling, and each of those individual pieces existed before Nebula in various forms. What makes Nebula different to existing offerings is that it brings all of these ideas together, resulting in a sum that is greater than its individual parts.
Nebula is a VPN application built with Android VpnService.
Recent changes: Added ability to control which apps should be excluded from the vpn connection. Modernize many parts of the UI styling. Config option to enable IPv6 lookups in nebula. Inbound and outbound firewall support in the UI. The entire nebula config.yml can be imported when creating a new site now, all settings are respected.

If you are a Nebula (GitHub) Mesh VPN user this app works and works well. It is a pain to set up with transferring certs back and forth. A gotcha is, don't let the Nebula app close before you get the phone and ca certs combined, or you're starting over. I would love the ability to edit the config file. And, I have no idea what version of nebula this is based on. Wish it could take care of all the certificate stuff without transferring files. There are no ads!

Is there a way to create inbound rules? Is the config file editable somewhere in the file system?

(2025-02-17, Android 11, App v0.5.1-93) Sadly the app freezes at any important action I tried. I can add a name, show a fresh Pub Key, share it and that's where it ends. No way to Paste or Load the signed key from the CA. Full on freeze. Rest of my Nebula works great and without a hitch.

Doesn't work with two Honor devices. Shows VPN badge for a moment, then "Initializing..." forever. Works for Xiaomi tho, but why I can't import full config and even add firewall rules?

Should allow me to import keys from a file as it does certs. Makes no sense to force me to generate keys on my phone, then export them to my laptop, so I can sign them, then import it all back to my phone...

App shows a loading screen on launch and never gets past it. Clicking the plus icon on ths top left does work but after saving the config, I'm back to the main screen with the infinite loading circle.
