NectarWeek Hive Coach

NectarWeek Hive Coach is an offline-first apiculture decision studio for backyard beekeepers, student keepers, and club mentors. It is not a hive diary, not a chemical shop, and not a craft sandbox.

Each week the question is simple: super, wait, harvest, or winterize? Match this week's regional nectar flow to colony strength, then choose a next action with illustrated field signs and short scenario quizzes.

READY ON FIRST LAUNCH
Eight climates, forty forage plants, twenty-four frame-sign cards, and twelve quiz cases ship as seed data, so every tab is full before you reach the apiary. A this-week ribbon shows major blooms and dearths for the climate you select.

SUPERING ADVISOR
Map colony strength, brood pattern, and flow intensity to add-super, wait, or harvest guidance. You bring what you just saw on the frames; the advisor returns a decision card. It does not store an inspection journal.

FRAME-SIGN DECODER
Twenty-four illustrated cards help you identify queen cups, swarm cells, supersedure cells, laying workers, chalkbrood, and other in-the-box signs. Open the decoder beside the hive and match what you see.

EDUCATIONAL TREATMENT WINDOWS
A mite-treatment window calendar covers temperature bounds and brood-break timing as learning content only. There are no product listings and no sales.

WEEKLY TOOLS
- Langstroth stack schematic with tap steppers estimates comb capacity as you add or remove brood boxes and supers—not a freeform canvas.
- Swarm-prevention decision tree of yes/no field checks resolves to a single next-action card.
- Winter-stores calculator converts frames of honey and cluster size into a feed-or-leave recommendation.
- Extractor vs crush-and-strain yield estimator from comb area and typical moisture.

TWELVE SEEDED QUIZZES
What's-wrong-with-this-frame cases include explainer rationales and retry, built for study sessions and mentoring.

HOME WIDGET AND ALERTS
A home-screen widget and notifications flag when a bloom phase or educational treatment window opens.

Know whether to super, wait, or winterize this week using bloom timing and frame-sign ID—instead of a static almanac or an empty log.
