The developer was caught secretly injecting data stealing code into the Play Store builds while keeping the public GitHub code clean -meaning even cautious users who checked the source were affected. Your phone number was being silently logged without consent. When the community raised this on GitHub, the developer didn't apologize or fix it, they blocked the people
