Recent changes: New optional on-screen icons for locking orientation to portrait/landscape, and preview shots. Grids now rotate when auto-level is enabled. Exif tags now supported for WebP and PNG image formats. Panorama photos now store XMP metadata to mark these as panorama images (JPEG formats only).
Photos no longer save on UI thread when using "Pause after taking photo" option.

User since 2016. Love It, except: EDIT: orientation issue is Android's fault: (a):shooting straight down, as I do to capture receipts, had troubles with wrong orientation. Viewfinder has an image of a camera indicating current orientation. Shooting level, towards the horizon, works perfectly, however straight down, it takes ~30° of tilt towards vertical portrait before the orientation changes to portrait, but ~60° tilt needed to switch back to landscape.

Y'all should make a camera app dedicated to astrophotography, with multiple photo capture auto aline with modes that can shoot up to 5 mins or longer, look up how google pixels astrophotography work, kinda like that but maybe also with exposure bracketing mixed in, might give enhanced results … thought I'd pass on an idea for y'alls to make another camera app geared towards astrophotography… and twelve using y'alls Open Camera for HDR shots my phones default camera socks at HDR photography

When I am recording a video from the selfie camera, after the recording is complete, the side of the video changes, meaning that things on the left side are moving to the right and is there any option to fix this?

I have a shokz open comm headphones. My phone refuses to use the external mic, so an AI engine suggested I download this app because it has a setting to use external mic. I tried the app-the image quality was poor, the audio kept cutting out. I uninstalled the app after testing it thrice

Why, just why has the torch button been removed? I used it all the time, it was very convenient. My phone has no other way of switching the torch on while the camera is open.

For some reason in Android 14+, all photo and video taken with this app, have their thumbnails are screwed. This affects the quality of the files and make it unviewable. The only solution is converted them to another format (png/avi) or use the native camera. Seems this bug cannot be fixed after 3 years, how sad.
