The Nighthawk ESX25 BE5000 Wi-Fi 7 range extender performed as advertised seamlessly with the app. In the past, I've had bad experiences with these types of "Wi-Fi Boosters" but this one actually delivers in dead spots. I don't have a huge apartment but dead zones do exists. Going through the setup using the Nighthawk app, I was connected in minutes especially connecting my 2.4Ghz security cameras. The great thing about this is that there's no separate SSIDs to create. Kudos!

Bought a new modem/router two days ago and set it up with this app and spectrum. Now I wanted to look at the app for the first time, and it just says I need to do a firmware update and tells me to connect to my Wi-Fi which I'm on. I can't get anything but that page and a page advertising modems/routers. No menu, nothing. Wanted to change my password and can't. I don't know about keeping this thing if I can't really access it.

Absolutely not useful app, it can't find Netgear Wi-Fi rtr even though im connected to its Wi-Fi. You can't add, manage new Netgear device.

Nighthawk routers (when working) are excellent. But if you're using this app to change any settings, God have mercy on your soul, and good luck. This app will not/cannot change settings. The router is Unresponsive, inconsistent, and shows inaccurate information. If this is the best net gear has to offer.... Might be time to change routers.
