Neural Dawn Natural Alarm

The Neural Dawn Natural Alarm Clock uses scientifically grounded monaural beat entrainment to transition your brain seamlessly from deep sleep to active alertness or from wide awake to peaceful sleep .

THE SCIENCE OF WAKING
When you are in deep sleep, your brain operates in slow Delta frequencies (0.5 to 4 Hz). Standard alarm clocks shock your nervous system, forcing an instant spike into waking frequencies. This sudden jolt causes severe "sleep inertia"—the heavy, groggy feeling that can ruin your morning.

Some apps detect your current sleep stage and wait for you to enter a light sleep to minimize the shock of awakening. But there is no telling how long it will take for you to transition to light sleep and accurate measurement is difficult without wearable devices

Neural Dawn takes an entirely new approach by guiding your neural activity through a calculated transition based on a scientific model of brain wave frequencies:

• Delta to Alpha: The audio engine generates precise monaural pulses that scale from deep sleep frequencies up to relaxed, alert Alpha frequencies (8 to 12 Hz).

• Geometric Audio Ramps: Sound begins at the edge of human perception, steadily building in volume alongside the frequency shift over your preferred schedule (recommended to be 10-15 minutes).

• Scientific Audio: Monaural beats require no headphones, interacting directly with your brain's auditory processing centres through your phone speakers.

With this approach we are nudging you gently awake by tuning your own brainwave frequencies. It does not matter what current sleep stage you are in - we can raise you to consciousness naturally and reliably at the time you need it.

SLEEP RAMP
Run Neural Dawn in reverse and you have the perfect way to wind down from alert Beta to sleeping Delta state. Just as you set a morning alarm, you can set an evening alarm reminding you that your regular sleep time has come and starting a session transitioning you to a relaxed sleeping state.

KEY FEATURES

• Custom Neural Ramps: Complete control over your starting frequency, target waking/sleeping frequency, and ramp duration.

• Sleep Inertia Shield: A progressive volume crescendo designed to lift you out of heavy sleep states without triggering a cortisol spike. This operates in reverse for sleep mode.

• Ambient Layering: Blend your monaural tracks with high-fidelity ambient layers like mountain wind, rainfall, or birdsong.

• Sunrise backdrop: See the glorious sunrise develop right on your phone, or sunset for sleep mode

• Wave animation: visualize the current beat frequency as gentle waves moving across the screen

• Heavy sleeper?: Set the final volume for the alarm to the max

• Genuine alarm clock: set time and days of the week to repeat (for mornings and evenings). No need to keep the app open or device unlocked - as long as the phone is on the alarm will sound.
