Best sound you can get on Android. It feels like I connected a DAC even without having one. Difference is really noticeable with decent headphones. This app haves everything if you love hifi audio. Some people complain about the interface but I really love it. It took one day for me to master the interface. Nothing complicated if you are dedicated to audio and love it. 5/5 Best music player for Android. Worth the money.

The best audio player for Android is Neutron. It's great for listening to SACD rips, DSD, Dolby Surround, and other high fidelity formats, but to get the best listening experience, I find it takes a bit of experimentation and a good ear. There are some unique features available as options for optimizing playback for headphones and speaker setups. I've been using Neutron since 2014 and have no complaints other than I wish the developer would port a desktop app for Windows, Linux, and Macintosh.

When I point it to directory of music files I get no music, not sure why, list of albums cannot be seen within Netron. I can see it scanning but when finished shows "0" albums in library, which is not true as I have hundreds of albums. Also, first time using Netron in a few years, as previously broken for me as well. Thought I'd give it another go and this happens. ? Also, very disappointed GUI hasn't updated since 2013, it's now 2025. UPDATE: I'm now fully converted to "USB Audio Player PRO"👌

I downloaded the eval version on my DAP, and it appeared to work okay. So I decided to get all the bells and whistles, so I paid the $8.99. The eval Edition allowed me to use my wireless earbuds. But when I installed the paid for version I couldn't use wired or Wireless earbuds. Every time I try to listen to a song the app would quit back to the icon. I uninstalled the paid version and reinstalled the eval version, and it works fine now. I would like my money back or at least some settings advice.

The app suddenly can't play music after the latest update ver 2.25.4. System pop-up messages said there's a bug causing the app to close. Please fix it.
