Literally every mini-game besides batting is great now, fielding is one of my favorites now and pitching and running are pretty engaging now. My gripes with batting is that I have 100 batting but if I'm just one pixel off the center it barely makes it out of the infield, I noticed literally zero difference between level 1 and level 100 batting. Also, the second you get benched for poor play, kiss goodbye starting again, I can pass every event but barely scrape out a five, and everyone hates me.

New Star Baseball is fun! I'm turning into a beast with the bat, and I am decent at pitching and running but my catching the ball needs work. I am willing to put in the time and effort to get better.

This game is not very good. Copy and paste non-in-game mechanics, but they seem to be forcing you to pay because you are always struggling. Game mechanics are bad. Opponents throw you out from center field, but it's impossible to field a ball 3 yards to the side. Pitching makes no sense. Running is annoying. The movements are no good, and it's very grindy. I love RSG, but this was bad. I even paid for tennis, soccer, and football games, but I can't here and read that it doesn't help you.

I love their other games like retro bowl and the soccer star/manager, but this game is too difficult to play casually. There's no place to practice or learn properly how to play either. The balance of the entire game is too difficult as well outside game play. Having over a .500 batting average means you are only a low C player and will struggle to make your manager, team, and fans happy. The strike zone for the opponent is also the entire screen which makes it nearly impossible to hit.
