The app helped me understand and appreciate the priceless art work plus pointed out many things in each of the rooms! Although the self-guided audio tour on the app does not replace a human tour guide that you can ask questions of, it was a well-organized and informative tour. I do have one piece of constructive criticism. Perhaps the preservation society should sell earbuds or headsets at a very reasonable price, so individuals can put one earpiece in while they walk around versus some people walking around with the volume amplified.

Rhode Island is blessed with the "richest" history. Newport Rhode Island to this day holds the greatest connections for us all to experience the historic stories still alive for us to relive. Thank you to all the Newport Historic Society devotees who fought to keep these mansions and history preserved and saved from dilapidation and ruin. God bless.

It won't install in my Android phone! Why is that, 🤔🤔🤔... thanks for ruining my visit to the mansions 20230925 - there's plenty of storage space and the app did not require to allow any permissions for installation; app store only showed installation is pending; Internet connection was through The Breakers free wi-fi and TMo's mobile internet connection. However, the app installed after I returned to Providence, RI using home Internet connection.

I do not like using the cell phone to take the tour I have hearing aids and earbuds do not work I will advise my friends do not do the tours as many of them have hearing aid, and you have to keep the volume down so not to disturb other tourist I will probably not return for the holidays now I was really disappointed I learned nothing on the tour and did not enjoy it at all
