Why We Use Exact Alarms Our app uses the USE_EXACT_ALARM permission to ensure timely and accurate updates for your home screen widgets. This helps deliver a reliable experience across various widget types:
• Weather Widgets – Update the weather precisely at the scheduled time • Photo Widgets – Change photos exactly when the user sets • Screen Time Widgets – Refresh usage stats right on time • Calendar Widget – Updates events and schedules exactly at the specified time • Event Widget – Notifies and updates upcoming events exactly when needed
Without this permission, widget updates might be delayed or inconsistent. We request it only when it's essential for maintaining accurate and real-time functionality.
Why Foreground Service is Needed The app uses a foreground service to ensure real-time updates. This keeps your widget looking fresh, accurate, and fully responsive throughout the day.
