Newtonball

Newtonball is football with gravity. The ball drops from the top of the pitch, bounces off the pegs and falls into a goal. You don't kick it: you decide where it bounces.

ARRANGE YOUR PEGS
Each team has 20 pegs on its own half. Before kick-off, place them where you think the ball will go: block the paths to your goal and open the paths to your opponent's. At most 3 pegs per row, so every layout is a choice.

OUTSMART YOUR OPPONENT
A match has three periods. Each new period gives you a peg change: move one peg mid-match to close the gap your opponent just found. The teams swap sides at half-time. When time runs out, the team with the most goals wins.

PLAY LIVE, 1v1
Find an opponent and play a live match against another player. If nobody is online, you play one of 32 bot teams with their own style. Matches run on our server, so if you leave, your team keeps playing and you can jump back in.

WEEKLY LEAGUE AND TROPHIES
Every match counts: win 3, draw 1, loss 0. Climb the World table and your country's table. Every week ends with a World champion and a champion in every country. Lift the trophy, share your ceremony and fill your trophy cabinet. The All Time table ranks the teams with the most championships.

Create a team with your own name, two colours and your country. No sign-up, no e-mail.

PRACTICE ANYTIME
Try a new layout in a practice match. It does not count in the league, and it works without an internet connection.

FAIR PLAY
Team names are moderated. You can report or block any team from the match and result screens.

Recent changes:
- New players jump straight into a guided practice match: your team is created for you, then the game shows you how to move pegs
- Rename your team and change its colours any time from the home screen
- Bots now play league matches against each other, so the tables are never empty
