Works mostly. Most problems are because of wrong configuration, not because of the app. But it can be hard to find the correct fix for the server settings. But the app is good.

Getting better with every version. Some minor inconsistencies like I can't get notification sounds working at all. Also, can't get it to light up screen for notifications and the vibrate doesn't always work.
★★★★★
Easiest self-hosted chat and the Talk app just keeps getting better. Install Nextcloud on an old laptop and host your own cloud for free!
★★☆☆☆
Do not install this version 20.0.0, it has some compatibility isuuses, chats are disappeared, no new conversation can be started. Wait untile new version 20.0.1 I use server ver 25 but as I checked there are some issues with server 26 and 27 also, it seems it works fine with 28 and newer PS ios version of talk work fine all version. I had a look on the talk projects for both Android and Ios on GitHub, it seems Android version lacks some tests.

It works over all. My gripe is with the screen share function with desktop users. When they share their screen, I only see half on my phone with cut off edges (Galaxy S22Ultra, not a small screen). The other half is the cameras. Would be nice to see the full screen of what's being presented and being to dock the smaller cameras somewhere or to remove them altogether during the screen share. If is call someone using the browser on my phone, and they share screen, its works perfectly.
★★☆☆☆
It's been goofy in my experience. On Android 12, I just can't do anything to grant it access to camera/mic. It has access but still says "permission denied". If I hit the back button in the app, it kicks me out and have to log in again. Other than it's rock solid.
