NextUp - Stream Great Stand-Up

★★★★★ I live somewhere comedians seldom visit, so £4 a month for a wide range stand up shows is an absolute steal. Brilliant idea and app.

★★★★★ Neat app for a great service! They have a huge selection of on-demand stand-up comedy specials, with famous names and less-known jewels. Before lockdown, I used to watch them on my daily commute (you can download shows for offline viewing), but lately I've been enjoying them on my smart TV, and they are LUSH! Recently they have started offering live streams as well, and they will broadcast Leicester Comedy Festival: I'm going to enjoy the full festival, live, from my sofa. Thanks Next Up, keep it up!

★★☆☆☆ False advertising. It says Join Now to access this content on the videos I want to see, so I paid £35 and then there is no play button on the videos, or it says 'Video can't be played at the moment'.

★★☆☆☆ Exciting idea, underwhelming delivery. Whenever there is a live broadcast on a phone/tablet there is a 4 option menu covering the bottom of the screen telling you to login/upgrade your membership despite being logged in and even after logging out and logging back in after clearing cache, it remains. The number of on demand shows is okay, but a lot of sets are available for free on YouTube. Wouldn't continue with my subscription at this price (£30) as it is now. Live show catch up should be added

★★☆☆☆ Nothing works. The app doesn't play videos. Website says email not recognized, when I try to log in. Don't waste your time or money.

★★☆☆☆ There is no Chromecast support, in spite of the app description claiming there is.
