Nexus Files: File Manager

Nexus Files is a complete file manager for Android. Browse everything on your phone, clear out what you no longer need, and reach files on your network as easily as files on your device. No account, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

📁 Everything on your device, in one place
• Internal storage, SD cards and USB OTG drives
• Instant categories: Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Downloads, APKs, Archives and Bluetooth
• A storage chart showing exactly what is filling your phone
• List or grid, natural sorting, hidden files, bookmarks and recent files
• Tabs, so several folders stay open at once

🔍 Find anything, fast
• Search the whole device, or just one folder
• Filter by type, size and date, and sort the results any way you like
• A fast scroller with a position bubble on every long list

🧹 Free up space without guessing
• One-tap optimize sweeps temporary files and leftover installers
• Duplicate files, compared by content rather than by name
• Largest files and largest folders, so you can see where the space went
• Empty folders and leftover installers, listed separately
• Deleted files go to the recycle bin first, and every deletion asks first

📤 Share files without a cable
• Built-in web server: open your phone's address in any browser to browse, download and upload
• Built-in FTP server for classic file transfer
• Scan a QR code to connect, instead of typing an address
• You choose exactly which folders are shared; everything else stays private
• Read-only mode and password protection

🌐 Connect to anything on your network
• FTP, FTPS, SFTP (SSH), SMB/CIFS and WebDAV
• Browse a network share exactly like a local folder: copy, move, rename, stream
• Save connections, with passwords kept in the device's hardware keystore
• Scan your network to find servers you did not know were there

🎬 Open files without leaving the app
• A video and audio player that plays what other players will not: AVI, MKV, WMV, MOV, FLV and more
• An image viewer with pinch-to-zoom that swipes through the whole folder
• A text editor with encodings, word wrap and line numbers
• Open archives in place: ZIP, 7z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, RAR, cpio and more
• Compress to ZIP or 7z, with a password if you want one

♻️ Nothing is lost by accident
• A recycle bin that restores anything you deleted
• Undo for copy, move and delete
• Every destructive action asks first, and says whether it can be undone

📱 Also included
• App manager: every installed app with its size, its settings and uninstall
• A transfer queue: stage several copies and moves, then drop each where it belongs
• Progress, pause, resume and cancel on every operation

🎨 Made to be yours
• Light, dark and pure-black themes
• Six accent colours, plus Material You dynamic colour
• Compact, comfortable or spacious layout density
• 10 languages, with full right-to-left support for Arabic and Urdu

🔒 Private by design
• No account and no sign-up
• Your files are never uploaded; everything happens on your device
• Servers run only when you start them, and share only the folders you pick

Nexus Files asks for All files access so it can manage every file on your device. You can also use it with media permissions alone, or with individual folders you grant.
