Description
This Alarm Clock uses NFC technology to make sure you are going to wake up in the morning.
Only NFC tag can disable the alarm. So put it away from your bed, on example in the bathroom, and in the morning you will have to go there.
How it works? Just assign one NFC tag to this alarm. In the morning alarm will be ringing unless you press the same tag against your device.
What is NFC? NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It's kind of wireless, contact-less protocol available in many new Android devices. Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy S3 both have it, as well as many others.
How can I get NFC tag? Try to use any contact-less card you have. It may be university card, public transit card, work ID etc. Pay Pass cards are not compatible with NFC technology, unfortunately. If none of those cards work for you, you can alway buy a dedicated tag for a dollar or two.
This app is free and contains no ads at all. Internet permission is necessary only for Google Analytics.

Holy crap it works. Well if you were trying to scare me awake, it worked flawlessly. I was frantically slamming my phone down on the NFC tag trying to male it stop. I really think you need to be able to choose the music. A gradual rise in volume is much better than a flat out loud song. 5 stars when it doesn't scare the crap out of me.

Half-baked The current version of this app is actually pretty poor. Aside from having no control over the sound played (or snooze duration), the app unknowingly doesn't work if the phone is locked when the alarm goes off (it asks you to touch the NFC sticker, but NFC is disabled unless you tap HOME and unlock your screen). The app also forgets that you've already set up a tag if you fully exit the app (e.g. via BACK button or reboot) and asks you to set it up again. tl;dr: Don't rely on this to wake up.

As an Alarm clock app it's too basic. You cannot save alarms (needs to set every night) You cannot create new asynchronous alarms You cannot snooze (although I find it actually better) You cannot change the ringtone There isn't any features actually besides one time alarm.. On the other side (and the reason I gave additional star) you cannot dismiss it without a NFC tag! which is awesome.. I just need to check if it's still dismiss-able withing phone shutdown or via task killer app..
