⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING
• Most door, gym, office and parking readers check the card's UID (its serial number). Copying the REAL UID needs a ROOTED phone with a compatible NFC chip.
• Without root, Android always sends a RANDOM UID when emulating, so UID-checking readers will refuse it. This is an Android rule, not a bug in the app.
• Encrypted cards (MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire, bank and payment cards, ID cards) cannot be copied by any phone.
• Many apartment and gym key fobs are 125 kHz RFID, not NFC. Phones cannot read 125 kHz fobs.
The app tells you, for every card you scan, whether it can be emulated on your phone.
🔍 NFC CARD AND TAG READER
• Read the UID, ATQA, SAK and technology type of NFC cards and tags
• See full card details instantly with one tap
• Works with MIFARE Ultralight, NTAG, ISO 14443-A, ISO-DEP and other NFC standards
• Detects encrypted cards and explains why
💾 CARD WALLET: SAVE AND ORGANIZE
• Save your cards with custom names
• Colour-code each card with a hue slider
• Drag and drop to reorder
• Your most-used cards rise to the top automatically
📲 NFC CARD EMULATION (HCE)
• Emulate saved cards with Android Host Card Emulation (HCE)
• Works with readers that talk to the card using APDU commands
• Open a card quickly with a shake gesture
🔓 ROOT MODE: REAL UID EMULATION
• On a rooted phone, NFC Emulate writes the card's real UID, ATQA and SAK to the phone's NFC controller
• Your phone can then present the original card identity to UID-based access readers
• Proven on phones with NXP NFC chips. Results depend on your phone's NFC chip
📤 SHARE AND IMPORT WITH QR CODES
• Share a saved card as a QR code
• Import a card by scanning a QR code with your camera or choosing an image
• No account, no upload
🏢 TYPICAL USES
• Back up simple office, building and campus access cards
• Check what kind of card you have and whether it can be emulated
🎨 Material Design, Light/Dark/Auto themes, custom colours, 60 languages.
✅ WHAT WORKS BEST
✓ MIFARE Ultralight and NTAG tags
✓ Simple, unencrypted access cards
✓ UID-based readers, with root and a compatible NFC chip
✓ APDU-based readers, with HCE (no root needed)
✗ WHAT CANNOT WORK
✗ MIFARE Classic, DESFire and other encrypted cards
✗ Bank, credit and payment cards
✗ Government ID and passport chips
✗ FeliCa transit cards (Suica, PASMO, Octopus, EZ-Link)
✗ 125 kHz RFID key fobs
✗ UID-checking readers on a phone without root
📋 REQUIREMENTS
• An Android phone with NFC hardware, with NFC turned on
• Root access to emulate a card's real UID (needed for most access readers)
• Android 7.0 or newer
🔒 PRIVACY
• Your saved cards stay on your phone and are never uploaded
• Scanning and emulation work offline
• We do not collect your card data
• The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. See our privacy policy for details
❓ HOW IT WORKS, AND WHY A READER MAY SAY NO
Every NFC card has a UID, like a serial number. Simple readers only check that number. When a phone emulates a card, Android picks a NEW random UID each time for privacy, and no app is allowed to change it. That is why a reader that checks the UID rejects a phone without root. Root lets NFC Emulate write the real UID into the NFC chip itself.
Encrypted cards keep a secret key inside the card chip. That key can never be read out, so no phone and no app can copy them.
The card screen in the app tells you which case applies before you try.
