I've worked with the Élan app over the past six to seven years now. It is not perfect but nothing is. I have found it to be quite excellent, quite user-friendly, and very convenient for my use in or away from my home

Good all round, easy to use. Not sure why all the negative reviews. As a dealer I use this app constantly, and aside from an occasional need to reboot app (what app doesn't occasionally) it works great for my homeowner's, bars and restaurants. Most I read are subsystems not the Élan app, which points more to the installer, or 3rd party equipment

Not what I expected, the app keeps crashing every few minutes, and sometimes I'm not able to connect to the controller it's giving an error.

Tired of getting "Flicker vertigo" from setting lights. It's easier to get up and turn the lights on/off as needed. Also, the attempts to program lights to come on/go-off doesn't work. Trying to operate this system without a user's manual is like flying a plane with no instruments to follow... you get nowhere fast & frustrated. Service techs will make a house-call for $$$, but not reveal "how-to" programming of system. I feel like a hostage to the Élan corporation.
