Description
An online interpreter is tricked into reading an ancient book that summons a demon into her home. Night Book is an interactive occult thriller from the studios behind The Complex, Five Dates and Maid of Sker.
Loralyn works the night shift remotely from her home, live interpreting video calls from English to French and back again. It doesn't matter what device I used, the extra content refuses to download. I downloaded their other interactive movies without any issues with the extra content, but this app doesn't work at all.

A bit cheesy. Starts too strongly w/ blatant paranormal stuff instead of easing in, letting you gradually suspend disbelief—you're asked almost immediately. Relies heavily on glitching vid footage (glitching out “live” cam feeds of ppl jumping around, one spot to another, in frame w/weird poses) for creepiness. An “ancient language” causes a possessed char. To sound like he's yelling “PO-TA-TO!” 🥔 Choices aren't compelling; didn't seem like I could branch into many diff endings. Acting decent!

I thought this game was free, I played half way and it all of a sudden said buy full game, that really sucks as I thought this game was free and I was really looking forward to playing it fully, bummer 👎

Kinda lame. It's barely a game. It's more of a movie that occasionally asks you a question. The story is fairly lame and acting is bad. Not worth the money. There are multiple endings, but I can't imagine sitting through this again to see them.
