Nights Keeper blocks all calls, but “white list” contacts will be able to go through. You can specify separate contacts or groups in your exceptions list.
You can create several profiles for different week days and time. In addition to the night profile, you can create the day profile too. It's important for those who work at night or like to take a nap afternoon. If you work by shifts app has solution for you as well.
If you decided to take in a movie or have important meeting, you can use «Don't disturb» profile that can be managed by home screen widget.
App can automatically send SMS notification to the blocked caller just to let him know that you are ok.
And if you are worry about urgent call from a contact not specified in your "white list", you can use «Emergency call» option. In this case caller will go through after several attempts.
You can specify night ringtone, special volume level and ascending ring.
App can help you to save your battery life by turning off Auto Sync, Mobile Network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at night.

If you see any problems with app work try to open app and then profile settings. During this actions app will ask all permissions that needed. It should solve most of the problems.

Functions very well. Rated a 5 prior to Android 5.x update. Then alarms didn't function while running. It defeated the main purpose of the app., unless you didn't need an alarm set. Was a perfect app. prior to that. Then researched & found that there is now a "priority" mode in sounds/notifications that could be set, and now alarms function. Fairly complicated for such an everyday task!? But it does work now! Seems like white list not working always, as a couple of times calls silenced from list

This app works great. I've been using it for years. White list the contacts that needs to get a hold of you in the middle of the night, and the rest of the callers go straight to voice mail. The phone doesn't even light up the screen, you'll have no idea you fit a call or text unless you wake up the phone.

Would give it a 5 if it would be able to silence text messages except from whiteout contacts. Other than that is works well and easy to set up.

Used to work great, now the app is horrible. I missed an emergency phone call during the night because white list can't be retained. App functions the same as turning phone off during the night. Absolutely useless. I have reached out to the developer several times with no response. Play Store should eliminate this app.
