I needed help with my parent's frame, but didn't know how to access their account. Joe, from customer support, was prompt and extremely helpful.

I had an issue with my frame not receiving pics after a payment was made. Maris of Nix play found the problem and quickly helped me solve the issue. Very helpful and solved my problem that 3 others could not. Thank you!!

FOR SUPPORT: I've been a Nix play user for over 10 years recently emailed support to make available 2-frames where "Martin" reset/clean data. I've had other frames with NO support at all (chat, phone or e-mail) unlike Nix play. Martin made these frames as new gifts within 24hrs. I would tell friends about Nix play just for the support itself “5-Star Support”. But, unlike support not happy about the change in cloud storage terms where "Cloud GB storage was removed" from existing customers.

★★☆☆☆ Kevin Lisk · May 6, 2026

The frame is fine - cost structure was a bit of a bait and switch. The app is HORRENDOUS. Navigation is all over the place, the bottom nav bar prioritizes things users don't care about, post photo upload you can't edit an image in one central place and have that feed out to all other albums, you must adjust for each album individually. Not at all user-friendly.

★☆☆☆☆ Justin Johnson · May 11, 2026

Good hardware, but the app and company practices are an absolute dumpster fire. I bought this frame because Google Photos syncing was included, and now it’s locked behind a subscription paywall. Classic bait-and-switch. Removing features after purchase to push recurring fees is incredibly anti-consumer, especially when competing frames still include these features without extra cost. Hard to recommend despite the decent hardware.

They put syncing with Google Photos which was previously free behind a paid subscription. That functionality was the whole reason I purchased my Nix play and I want my money back.
