NO TEARS CHAT

NO TEARS is a neutral, zero-knowledge, peer-to-peer (P2P) utility application designed to facilitate direct, ephemeral, and strictly encrypted connections between two devices.

In an era of mass data collection, NO TEARS takes a radical approach: We cannot read, store, or recover your data because we simply don't have it. There are no user accounts, no central servers storing your messages, and no digital footprints left behind. Your data exists solely on your device for the duration of the connection. Once your session ends, the data ceases to exist.

CORE FEATURES:

🔒 Absolute Zero-Knowledge Architecture
NO TEARS collects absolutely nothing. We do not require names, phone numbers, email addresses, or device identifiers. The application acts strictly as a secure conduit, transferring data directly between peers without retaining historical logs.

🔥 100% Ephemeral Sessions
All session data exists exclusively in your device's temporary memory (RAM). When the connection is severed—whether intentionally, accidentally, or due to inactivity—all messages, files, and call data are instantly and unrecoverably vaporized from your local memory.

🔗 Direct Peer-to-Peer Encrypted Tunnels
Communicate securely without intermediaries. NO TEARS supports:
• Encrypted Text Messaging
• High-Definition Voice Calls
• Secure Video Calling and Screen Watching Mode

🛡️ Advanced Environmental Security
Designed for environments where physical privacy is just as important as digital privacy:
• Quick Reset Protocol (Panic Mode): Rapidly shake your device twice to instantly wipe all active session data and seamlessly transition the app to a neutral decoy internet browser.
• Auto-Wipe Triggers: Minimizing the app, locking your screen, or pressing the power button triggers an immediate, automatic session termination and data purge.
• Strict Screenshot Block: Prevents the device's operating system or third-party apps from capturing screenshots or recording the screen while the app is active.

📂 Secure Local File Transfers
Send and receive files directly from peer to peer. For added security, you can enable a setting that forces the receiver to request your permission before they can save the file to their device.

⏱️ Self-Destructing Messages
Configure your text messages to automatically disappear after a customized set duration, ensuring that your conversations remain truly fleeting and off-the-record.

🌐 Multi-Language Support
Built for a global audience, the entire user interface natively supports 11 languages:
• English (Default)
• 中文 — Chinese (Simplified)
• Русский — Russian
• فارسی — Persian/Farsi (RTL)
• العربية — Arabic (RTL)
• Español — Spanish
• Tiếng Việt — Vietnamese
• Türkçe — Turkish
• ไทย — Thai
• 한국어 — Korean
• မြန်မာ — Burmese/Myanmar
Switch languages instantly from the in-app Settings menu. Your preference is saved locally.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Tap "New" to generate a secure, one-time session code and QR code.
2. Share this code securely with your contact.
3. The receiving party taps "Join" and inputs the code or scans the QR.
4. An encrypted P2P tunnel is established directly between your two devices.
5. When the session is closed, absolutely everything is wiped.

Take control of your privacy. Leave no trace. No logs, no accounts, no tears.
