Great app so far, I like that it presents articles and perspectives from the recent past as well as what is current. From opinion to investigative reporting, the coverage is great.

I don't care for the "AI" voice. Foreign Affairs recently started using this for narration on their articles. I preferred the previous narrator they used, but it wasn't a big deal. Recently though, NOA has partnered with another company (11 Labs, I believe) to use an "AI" voice for narration (nothing being called AI today actually is, but that's a different pet peeve). It's flat and mispronounces names all the time. I had considered using NOA before, but probably won't be now.

Freezed on first run after subscribing, and now trying to listen to a story it bothers complaining that I'm already subscribed... Which for Noa obviously means you can't listen 🤦🏻♂️

After writing feedback in app, I decided to also post it here. App settings; (In the form of selection of a few publications, and then topics) I was met with article after article from publications I didn't select about topics I didn't request. For a curated aggregate, claiming conceptually to try and be less bias/partisan, verbalizing the news, I certainly like the concept - in practice I'd give this one a hard pass as of this moment. App is filled with AI narration which you can turn off.
