Permission explanations
Nocebo Launcher uses the AccessibilityService permission for optional support of making certain system functions more accessible, such as with desktop gestures, like turning the screen off. Nocebo Launcher will automatically prompt you to enable this if it is necessary for your configuration; for many cases it is not! No data is collected from the AccessibilityService; it is merely used to invoke system actions.

Nocebo Launcher uses the Usage Access permission to provide app predictions on the spinner wheel and to ensure accurate app closing animations. All usage data is processed entirely on your device. Nocebo Launcher does not collect, track, or share your app activity.

Nocebo Launcher uses the Display Over Other Apps permission to render the floating spinner wheel and to mask screen transitions for smoother animations. Nocebo Launcher does not read or monitor your screen content.
