Description
Modern MMOs are missing something. Somewhere along the way, game developers realized that appealing to the masses meant forsaking the heart and soul of classic RPGs - intricate character development - and focusing instead on graphics and simplicity of gameplay. Nodiatis is the antithesis to this modern paradigm.
A classical RPG in an MMO setting, Nodiatis appeals to gamers who appreciate retro gaming but still want the excitement of competitive play. While it has a story line, quests, and ...graphics, the true appeal is in the complex and strategic means of advancing your character(s). To start, there are over 26 classes from which to choose, each with its own unique active ability and passive bonuses. From there you must increase in strength mainly by carefully divvying your accumulated experiencing (in the form of trophies stolen from your foes) into any of the over 200 skills. Only with intelligent choices can you hope to become a powerful force. There are no pre-ordained paths or skill trees to guide the uninspired.
In addition to the solo and cooperative PvE progression that you would expect from an RPG, Nodiatis offers some very unique PvP. Very few have the stomach for our most controversial PvP - becoming a permanent player killer, allowing you to kill and steal items from anyone, but dying forever if you are eventually hunted down and killed yourself. For the others there is clan based world PvP and set duration arena tournaments, both allowing you to gain status and help your clan to unlock powerful runes that can help all members.

Not a bad port really. You do need to move some stuff around, and it takes a minute to figure it out. Really wish I had my account from 14 years ago, can't beat this old school rpg for the price of free. It is 100% free btw, no strings attached. Now It's tough to play this on the phone, but it is functional. For sure it's a slow grind but you do gain passive xp and there are a ton of different skills to work on, so you will be engaged in the process of creating your character. Play it on the PC too.

Played the PC version since 2009, excited to see a mobile port. Yes, the UI needs a little work, but again, it's a mobile port of a PC game, so that's to be expected. Community is either half of the reason to play, or toxic, depending on how much of a troll you are. Game itself is complex, very in-depth, and easily the best / most / deepest character customization and character growth control I've you can find. Worth a play for that reason alone.

Congratulations Nodiatis I'm going to give you your first honest review! The game is a boring grind fest, not different, the community is toxic, not different, once you pass level 15 you NEED upgrades which are 55 dollars each. There is little to no incentive to buy them as besides leveling faster the game doesn't change at all. Pay to win, greedy developers, not different. The amount of time you will put into this game is absurd. This app on mobile sucks. It's just a port from the website...

Same old, somethings never really change this is one of those things. There was soooo much that could have been done for the ui to make it more mobile friend and possibly pull in new customers Jeff, did you not want to just make a new text based client because you could've decently easily made this in to a decent text based game. With "animated" combat. Nodiatis had potential to be something awesome but its to far gone at this point. Not many games can claim to have $250 +cosmetic purchase and this is one of them feel free to drop was it 50 time cards($5) a pop or 2 millionish gold each last I checked each. For a custom graphic face which is really cool custom faces is a great idea. Not worth $250 for the type of ui this has. Or to be able to cap the first time taking less than a year you need to pay at least $200 never mind the second capping. because you won't cap for free with in several years. But feel free to keep milking this cash cow to the last drop. I know over the years I've thrown you a couple of hundred. Dollars I regret and I sincerely hope that new p(l)ayers don't download this and get hooked.
