First time using Nomad esim. I'm here in Morocco, and it's worked a treat. No problems easy to set up, and started working as soon as I landed

★★★★★ Tama Lafaiki · Sep 2, 2026

My first time when traveling overseas using an e-sim I normally would purchase a physical one. Easy to purchase, download and use. You are able to monitor your data usage and purchase a top-up if needed.

★★★★★ Andrew Bass · Sep 23, 2026

I used a Nomad esim for a 2-week-long trip to the UK. Setup was very easy and the esim connected to a suitable British network as soon as I turned it on upon arrival. I was however, occasionally in quite remote areas, where I lost signal. Reestablishing network connection later was not automatic but the app's help section explained how to force the esim to connect to a suitable partner network. Overall I was very happy with my experience with Nomad.

First time using Esim, to travel on my family vacation, purchase and installation was easy and quick, connection is good and is stable, using this currently in Germany, data amount has been sufficient for me this far. Compared to other Apps the price range suited me

Unable to create an account First I got an error about a vague "Security policy" violation. Even when I tried on another device. I think they discriminate based on email domain, which is bad. When I tried a different email address, it said "Email addresses are not supported", even though I was on the email address signup page. I contacted their customer support, who insisted that the only solution is to set my operating system's time to the incorrect time, then back. Didn't work, of course.

If you are traveling to Peru, do NOT get this esim. It didn't work in Scared Valley, the town before. Machu Picchu or Cusco. The SIM in Iquitos mainland was fine, I don't expect it to work in the Amazon. Lima airport was hit-and-miss. Nomad does respond to concerns but could not fix the issue. I spent £20+for 10 days and was not able to connect, for nearly half of that. A very poor experience made it more frustrating when your see other travelers using their phones.

★☆☆☆☆ Trent B · Aug 31, 2026

Bought an unlimited data sim. Didn't work once while I was overseas, despite attempting all the troubleshooting suggestions. When I requested a refund I was told no refunds. So be aware, they're completely okay with selling a lemon and pocketing your money.
