I love NotanIzer. I used to convert photos to black and white and use that as my reference for painting. NotanIzer is the gold standard of reference development. When I decide on the number of levels I then develop my palette with the same number of values pre-mixed. It works for "my brain"!

Incredible tool for rapidly assessing relative values within a photo. Aspiring artists take heed, however: you still need to do studies without any tools, because you must make *decisions* about what should be light and dark (not just what *is* light and dark). This tool makes it easier to start "seeing" the relationships of light and dark, though, and that's an invaluable starting point.

Cannot download photos from gallery, omit pretty much sucks

It is not possible to increase the size of the modified image. The modified image hardly fills the screen.

After the 10/26/19 fix, the import image button no longer works. That was the only way I ever used it. I have an LG model number LM-Q710TS.
