I've used this app before, it's a great app for transposing physical sheet music over to a digital version, but it would be nice for there to be a feature where you could take a picture of sheet music or scan it on a printer, and it's inputted into the app

So far, this app is great. The people who complain about ads are kinda stuck up, because there's only an ad when you return to the homepage. If you're really serious about writing music, the ads shouldn't be a problem to you. If you're really, REALLY serious about music, buy no ads (though I don't know if that's an option by itself, I haven't checked). This is the fourth music writing app that I've tried without paying for premium, and it's really great! Btw placing notes is quick and easy too.

Fabulous application! Notation Pad is very efficient with the battery, wow! I wrote an entire fugue at 38% then watched the battery drain as I admired my work. I was able to gear the application to my work and knowledge, so first species counterpoint became a feat in composing. I love it!

This app makes you pay to be able to change the instrument and tempo, and then it steals more money from you anyway. Don't get it. I am more than moderately frustrated with how much money you lose thanks to it.

I'm trying to find a score editor to compose on the go and export scores. The features are locked, so I can't even create a test score. I can't even try out the cello sound to see if it sounds decent. I'm willing to pay for an app, but I want to try it out first to see if it suits my needs (like exporting properly to music XML); it's impossible to try out this app.
