Notifyer+ Unread Count

★★★★★ Had trouble in beginning, but now works great! I used the free version which worked well, but I decided to update to the paid version to use custom icon packs. Initially I couldnt get it working, but it started to after turning it on and off a few times. The developer responded to my email which helped. Would be great if the created widgets could be placed in groups. I'm using Solo as my launcher on a Galaxy S5. Update 2/3/16: Shuts down when trying to change icons to Cherry Glass Pro on Note 4.

★★★★★ Works great on my Pixel phone. I'm not using the Android Messages app though (I use Textra). Love being able to see notification counts on my app icon instead of having to look at the notification bar.

★★★★★ Gmail count!!! Thank you for developing this app! Just upgraded to a new phone and my Gmail wouldn't show my count of emails. I searched and searched a way to fix it and couldn't find anything! Finally found this app and bought it! Works great! Just an FYI it's a widget so you can't put it on your dock.

★★★★★ Good app for iOS style notifications Works by replacing app icons with widgets. One complaint: the widget icons are not aligned with other icons (they are lower), which doesn't look nice.

★★☆☆☆ Purchased this app for show unread count with gmail and yahoo. The first time good working but after bad working. Don't show unread count.

★★☆☆☆ The native count for the messages stopped working. Now every message received gets counted as unread, even if you read the message.

★★☆☆☆ I purchased the Notifyer+ app after trying the free version and it working so well. The Notifyer+ app worked just as well as the free version until recently. My Moto E4 got a system update and gmail update in the same week and now the counts for gmail won't clear when all email has been read. I've read in the reviews that the free version is having the same issues recently. I have my phone app, voicemail app and Textra app also being "Notifyed" and they all seem to still work great. I feel bad that the developer of Notifyer needs to keep repairing for things that other developers for other software change. When this has been corrected I will give it 5 stars again .......................................................................................................................................... Update: Gmail app is the problem. I installed Edison mail app to use with my gmail acct and then "Notifyed" the Edison app. It works perfectly! Notifyer+ back to 5 stars!..........,................. ...................... Update 3-26-2018. The latest update broke the email counts again. Back to 2 stars.............................. Update 3-30-2018 Notifyer+ was updated today. It is worse now! The app is crashing after a missed call and no badge counts on the email icon. I wish I could get a refund on this app!
