Best text to transcript note app, I can't go back to the old way of writing notes down or typing them again!! I love being able to just hop on and start speaking about what is on my mind, or what I need for work the next day, what we need from the grocery store, and even helps with recording phone calls and records meetings, so you will never forget what was said or what you are expected to do or get or just want to remember something that popped into your mind and don't want to forget a thing!

Very useful for language learning. Can accurately transcribe bilingual text, such as lessons. Records the audio and transcribes. Works for any audio playing in a web page. Minus one star doesn't work for audio playing from an app, except YouTube. I wish it could transcribe directly from the internal android audio, so you could use it on anything. But there are audio recorders that will do that, and then you can upload the file to Gotta to be transcribed. Overall great and easy to use.

Not so sure about AI transcription. I downloaded this primarily just to transcribe my Dream recordings. The AI seems to approach the transcription as if it is my recording was a meeting. The details are there but the phrasing is modified will use it some more before committing to a subscription. It's a really fascinating product. Give it a try.

It's an ok AI to transcript text. To be honest not even the best. Most of the material I gave the app, required more work from me than if I did it my self. The worst. The automatic subscription with no monthly mail reminder to let me know that they are taking money for a service I don't use anymore. You want to cancel on the app, YOU CAN'T, you want to cancel on the desktop version, YOU CAN'T 2026, advanced technology company, still don't understand that abusing their users is a stupid idea.

Less than zero. I pay for it yet somehow freezes mid-transcription. Then I get home, try to stop app but doesn't respond. It displays the transcription (which is often useless) then I wait. Eventually it has audacity to tell me I used more than 300 minutes on my pro subscription and will not release 1 hr transcription from earlier. Also why is this app always needing data connection? Just store voice locally then upload back in Wi-Fi range. Do not recommend. Google basic plus claude.
