Nova Launcher

★★★★★ Android 14 official launch date is with the pixel 8. The beta version of os 14 doesn't have the working launcher yet which force me to use a third party launcher. Os 14 has improved the lock screen that combine with Nova home screen is perfect combo. Things like able set background colors and its transparency of folders, padding the home screen, two fingers swipe action etc. is very nice. It doesn't work well with all types of icon packs, I'm sticking with pixel system icons.

★★☆☆☆ This used to be a great launcher, but it has not been updated since 2021 and is beginning to crash regularly since the android 14 update.

★★☆☆☆ This launcher is great in many aspects. However, it seems to have a bug on Android 13 where the home screen sometimes freezes and doesn't react to any input. I need to lock and unlock the phone in order to use it again. This bug was not present with Android 12 on the same phone. But I can't use this launcher since it happens once every 15 minutes making it very annoying to use.

★★☆☆☆ Persistent Default Launcher Issue Review: I've been a long-time user of Nova Launcher and have always appreciated its customization options. However, I've recently encountered a persistent issue where despite setting Nova Launcher as my default launcher, my device consistently reverts to the default launcher on its own.
