Good app it comes in handy if you don't know the name of a song

This just doesn't work. I lost all my song history. This updated app just sucks. Fix it Googles UPDATE... Google fixed it. It now works as advertised. It works on my lock screen, and it works when I open the app. Best of all, I got my lists back!

Love this feature, would give 5 stars if the "go to song" feature worked correctly. It'll open your music app, but you'll have to search for the song yourself. Obviously not a huge deal, but the feature is there and doesn't work as intended.

They took a once functioning piece of software and in making it standalone absolutely broke everything useful about it. I actually used the notifications from the service for a thing and now that's unavailable. 9/17/26 Edit: It took updating to the latest version both OS and App wise for notifications to come back. We're at least back to previous abilities.

Totally non-functional now, have tried everything but just immediately jumps to "unable to identify song" don't bother using if you have a pixel 7. Microphone is verified working in other apps

Not what it used to be! This app was great when I had my pixel 4XL. When Google switched to the infamous tensor chip things went south very fast. Basically, the app is worthless now!!
