I've been using this player to play my backed up video files on a network hard drive. It connects to the smb server, whilst other players or PLEX don't. Casts well to my older chrome cast device and a bonus, on my newer Chromecast, the app is downloadable - without the need to cast it from my phone.

Great app. Latest update seems to have messed up the Local tab and isn't finding files properly. Setting up favorites and playlists to get around the problem for now. Also noticing that my preferred sub language (eng) is being used for videos, but it's also displaying the default subtitle on screen at the same time (if it isn't eng by default). It isn't unselecting the default sub, both are checked and displayed at the same time. I have to manually uncheck the default on every video.

UNBELIEVABLE! Continuous playback in ATV and Android inside dlna folders without a playlist! Brilliant! Glorious! Fyi for ATV/GTV sideload won't work, but if you buy on play store it transfers. I just can't believe I found this!

It's slower than nPlayer Plus in iOS. I couldn't log in to the Dropbox acc (due to the built-in browser being outdated). It's 3 years since v1.7 got updated, I hoped that it would be better but seems I was wrong since v1.8 looks slower than v1.7 while reloading the Shared Drive.

A good application, but it has its own problems that the developers are in no hurry to fix. I would like the application to run faster and smoother without bugs. Probably the developers did not plan serious support for this application for Android devices - the application has not been updated for two years, and the new fixes were not really useful and timely... I am very grateful to the team that released this application on Google Play. I really hope that all the bugs will be fixed, as well as

The latest update broke this app, can no longer read files stored on phone and can no longer support eac3 as can't read external codec. This was one of the best apps on play store in its category. Now it's just worthless junk. The developer needs to Please fix asap! Will be 5 stars once back to its usual best

Can't access local storage since last update. Nplayer is also unavailable in the list of apps which I can grant "Allow all file management" permission

Can't log in into Google Drive. You guy going to fix it or not? This is a serious problem. I paid for the feature which can't use at all. I'm so frustrated.
