Comments on NRSV Bible for Android

★★★★★ Prima Lobo · May 11, 2024

Good. This NRSV Bible is the best for catholic to read and to study the word of God.

★★★★☆ Roger Williams · Jan 16, 2026

I enjoy using this Bible app. I particularly appreciate the highlight and share features, where with just one "click", I can share a Bible verse as a social media post. Whoever thought of that idea is genius. Additionally, I am enthralled by the New Revised Standard Version. I read somewhere that it is the closest and most accurate translation available now, that is free of evangelical or denominational bias. I even use it for worship service & daily devotions.

NRSV Bible Has Been A Good App !! Without unnecessary adds while reading which is great!! They pop up once you are trying to exit the thing that you were reading. Fantastic App Contains Everything from Videos, Songs, Alarms, even map to the nearest church!! 😆 Wow.... The Feature to create the scripture you are reading into a verse and ability to share it to people is nice!!! This app also shows your progress in particular book by means of percentage !! This app is very handy while on trip

Uninstalled after reading the first page. I don't mind an ad at the start and end, but not after I read every page. That's just tedious. I can play to read a yearly subscription without ads, but I'd rather buy a physical Bible at that price.

★★☆☆☆ Arctic Denizen · Feb 20, 2026

Handy but not word for word. When compared to my NRSV hard copy, the app doesn't match and seems to omit some keywords and phrases.

★☆☆☆☆ Zaria Davis · May 26, 2026

It is a sinful thing to put ads in front of this rich text.

★★☆☆☆ Peter Beukelman · Nov 28, 2024

Way too many ads! Without the ads the app would be perfect, so I would happily pay to have them removed but if that is not possible, I will uninstall the app (with regret)
