January 1978, the Station asSumed the current name NTA L.agos, Channel 10.
The name NTA Lagos, Channel 10 (Station for Excellence) is unique in the broadcast of consistently clean signals over a wide coverage area of metropolitan Lagos, parts of Ogun, Oyo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Kwara, Osun, Ondo State, and the Republic of Benin.
