NTV is a good app, particularly because of rapid news updates and a sensible mix of political, sports and entertainment news. However, regrettably the much video news cannot be viewed abroad, which is difficult to understand. NTV should pass relevant agreements within the EU so that the videos become accessible.

Had to finally uninstall it, cuz of all the ultra-annoying full screen ads with fake X buttons, bottom row ads, that are placed specifically to be fat-fingered, when trying to use my phone's navigation buttons, double ads loading into articles from above, that keep pushing the articles down by like 60% of my screen... it's a nightmare to use this app. Better to just access your site via browser and a proper ad blocker, else you'll go insane.

Update: 29.04.2025; The NTV Publisher is suffering under Trump derangement. No objective reporting on what is happening in the German failing leadership, and the ongoing deception during the formation of the new government. Definitely a "Legacy Media". I'm amused by the response below by NTV. Liberal News platform, constantly interjecting the writers' opinion. I'm reading the US News and comparing. Definitely on the farther left spectrum, not centered.

The information is usually quite neutral, fact based and well written. Why two stars only? The app is blocked by publicity, very often. Nevermind for publicity in a free app, but here, it just blocks everything, waiting is infinite. Some incompetent programmers for publicity push/block at work I guess. Other news apps work well, just this one does not.

Too many mistakes, too many nonsense AI article. Too many ads. Used to read this regularly, not anymore.
