Provides recommendations on adult and pediatric nuclear medicine protocols and estimates of radiation dose for imaging professionals.

- The adult portion provides references to recommended adult guidelines for protocol selection and injected activity. Broad estimates for effective dose and absorbed dose to the critical organ are provided. These dose estimates are for standard models and should not be considered patient-specific under any circumstance.

- The pediatric tool provides recommended injected activity for pediatric patients based on the North American consensus guidelines and the European Association of Nuclear Medicine guidelines. This information is intended as a guideline only. Local practice may vary depending on patient population, choice of collimator, and specific requirements of clinical protocols.
