Description

Nuj is an alarm clock that charges you money for staying in bed!

How it works
1. Set an alarm time, and a get up time
2. Add some barcodes you have to scan
3. Set a penalty
4. If you don't scan one of the barcodes by the get up time, you get charged the penalty

For example:
1. Set an alarm for 7:00am with a get up time of 7:05am
2. Add the toothpaste and shampoo barcodes
3. Add a $50 penalty
4. Alarm goes off at 7:00am
5. Get up and scan the toothpaste barcode before 7:05am. Or, don't, and lose $50 (money goes to charity).

Life-changing for heavy sleepers! As a heavy sleeper, waking up was a massive challenge. I was routinely late for work and missing Fajr prayer. Nuj changed everything. The financial accountability forces me out of bed—it snaps me out of deep dream loops and overrides my brain’s intense urge to keep sleeping. It completely fixed my morning routine. Worth every penny!

Literally charges you money if you miss the alarm. As someone with a sleep disorder, this is a VERY bad idea.
