NVR Companion

NVR Companion is a calm, focused toolkit for parents practising NVR — a recognised approach for raising children whose behaviour has become challenging, violent, or withdrawn.

NVR is a new way of parenting based on presence, persistence, and support — not power and control. NVR Companion brings the core ideas, tools, and trackers together in one private, on-device companion you can carry with you through the hardest moments.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Learn — Understand NVR parenting. Short, clear lessons on the core concepts: what NVR is, the baskets, de-escalation, the announcement, sit-ins, and reconciliation gestures.

Growth — Understand where you stand and steady the storm: the parent line, the seesaw, the goldilocks zone, and your stress position.

Connect — Stand against the behaviour, never against the child: the magnifying glass, connection before correction, the shield, and reconciliation gestures.

Planning — Organise what matters and prepare your words: sort your baskets, build your supporter network, and write your announcement.

Wellbeing — You cannot pour from an empty cup: daily mood check-ins, a compassionate letter to yourself, and a self-care tracker.

NVR COMPANION PRO

The Learn section is free. NVR Companion Pro is a one-time unlock that opens the Growth, Connect, Planning, and Wellbeing sections, plus a set of deeper interactive planners and trackers.

You can choose between three support levels at different price points — they all unlock exactly the same content. Pick the one that reflects your circumstances.

IMPORTANT

NVR Companion is an educational and self-help companion. It is not a medical device, and it does not replace professional advice from a clinician, therapist, or NVR practitioner. If you are in crisis or your child is in immediate danger, please use the helpline numbers in the in-app Crisis section
