Glad that it is working again, after many months of not opening the bin. ........ [p.s. I'm on Pixel 6 Pro which uses Bluetooth 5.2. Wife's Pixel 4a works fine - runs Bluetooth 5.0. Maybe the issue is Bluetooth 5.2 incompatibly?!] / / Bins fail to open. States that I need to be closer, when I am right next to. Says "Opening", then fails to open. Very frustrating!

Edited July 2023: the app works again on Google Pixel. May 2023 The app worked up until about 5 weeks ago. As many others have stated, it no longer works on Google pixels (I'm on 6A but others have issues too). The response from customer service was to suggest going to a Grow NYC composting site instead. The whole point of these bins is for people who can't go during those times. It'd be great if you'd just fix the app, so it works like it used to.

The app does not work on my Pixel 6. I've tried playing with the Bluetooth and uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't unlock bins and also thinks I'm not near the bin when I'm right next to it. Would massively appreciate an update/troubleshooting!

It worked a few times and then it didn't. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice while standing on the corner. My compost ended up in the trash bin on said corner. I've reached out for help and received none. I have a Google Pixel 6.

The bins are always full or out of service. The door refuses to open even on the bins the app says are available, and you're standing right in front of the bin pressing "Open Bin" on the app.
